Spraying chemical Endosulfan banned

As NZ catches up to the rest of the civilised world and Endosulfan use is to stop, Horticulturalists -- obviously not concerned with the environment and public health -- speak out against the decision as "extraordinary".  A Google search reveals a disaster in Brazil where Endosulfan spilled in a river  " killed fish and river animals, forced the shutdown of water systems in several cities, placed 74,000 inhabitants in danger and forced 8,000 students from their schools."

One has to wonder at the intelligence and morality of opponents to the essential decision.
