ANIMALS FOR SALE only TO CARING HOMES
If you have a small rural
property, are interested in animals just for "looking at", for home
kill, and
you care for the happiness of the animals while alive, with the gentlest of ends
for them, then we may be able to help. We reserve the right to NOT sell --
sorry, we are very concerned about animal welfare.

Beautiful
Belted Galloway cattle from Pedigree stock are available all year
round. We have cows of varied ages, male (very peaceful) female and
neutered. Available at times.

Jersey cows if you want to milk, with calves
fathered by our Belted Galloway bull -- he is prepotent and always
throws his colour (with various patterns when mum is a Jersey), naturally
polled (don't grow horns) red meat (not Jersey 'yellow') and calm like
mother.

Our sheep
are mainly Mouflour, but some are black and a a few are
white. Tame if hand reared, but quiet and readily mustered. All animals
killed quietly in their 'home' (we can recommend competent
'HomeKill' butchers) provides naturally tender meat at a small
cost. |

Our poultry
runs free part of each day and are currently laying daily. Some will sit on
their eggs and (if you have a rooster) you'll have chicks as well. Clucky
hens available at times.
Our main breeds are Barred Rock (flecked black and
white), Sussex (white with black ruffles and
tail feathers) - both great eating, and Shafers
(reddy brown) |
