No Party policy but
conscience
vote on Euthanasia
The Voluntary
Euthanasia Society NZ reports:
We have sent out
questionnaires to all the political parties, asking them about their attitude to
VE, but the only one that has replied is Liberterianz (which is on our side).
This is not surprising as
most parties treat it as a conscience matter & allow a free vote on this issue.
However, we recommend that
you look at the way voting went on the Peter Brown bill. The full details are on
