Tuscany host taken for a ride wants added attention to Scammer "Donald Smith"
but - understandably - does not want to be identified
She wrote,
"We just dealed
with this Guy this morning who had us charging his credit card over and over
again for his “clients” here in Tuscany We have a pretty tight fraud system but
he almost made it through with his plan. My suggestion is to always wait 48
hours before dealing with these transactions. I wrote him an e-mail but probably
won’t hear from him again!! Be careful out there!!

Thank you for your enquiry, I am pleased to inform you that we do have
availability for the dates you have required.
The Rate per night inclusive of bed linen and cleaning fee is R1200.
The house is a self catering holiday home and consists of two double rooms
and one room with two singles and a bunk bed. (Total sleeps 8)
Total Charge for 10 nights is R12 000.
Should you require the services of a private cook for the duration of your
stay , please do let us know in advance.

Thanks for your mail. I am glad to tell you that i have concluded payment
arrangements with the guest for the 12,000.00 ZAR = $1,535 USD, However we
are going to send you the Credit Card Information that will cover the cost
of our accommodation, and the necessary arrangement for the guest. Moreover,
we also made an arrangement with a transport logistics firm who will arrange
cars and our flight ticket to your property, so in order not to share the
information with a third party, we have decided that only one person will
have to handle the credit card information based on security reasons, I will
send you the credit card details because the transport logistics firm did
not have credit card facility
So once you are in receipt of it, you are required to charge the credit
card, and confirm the amount of ($6,535 USD) in your account, then deduct
the cost of your services which is ($1,535 USD) and send ($5,000 USD) to
the transport logistics firm whose information will be forwarded to you once
this is confirmed. Any other balance will be paid to you on arrival. The
transport logistics firm is going to use part of the money to arrange our
