Hi
It's our first big snow of the winter and it's quite beautiful.
We took the car out this morning before the
snow began to do food shopping at
our favorite market.
It was a zoo inside and we had to follow a
family to get their trolly. It only got worse from there! We could hardly move
around the store to shop and the check out line started 1/2 way through the
store.
Ah , New York city ... you have got to love
it!
Macie has gone to the cinema with a friend's
family and Barry and I worked on a small shoot. We are off to dinner with
friends and a snow ball fight!
Thursday was the inauguration for George W and when I saw the news a day later
of the motorcade it reminded me of Hitler and his parades... All that tax money
being spent on his " show" urgh!
Macie's school is now totally over crowded ......
So we decided that we want to send her to
private school. We have spent the past few
months taking tours, filling out applications and being interviewed. We should
hear from the schools within the month, but we are hopeful that she will get
into one of the schools. There are only a handful of openings at each school
so it's a crap shoot!
How are things going in Puhoi? We talk about your part of the country as the
most beautiful part of NZ... Keep us up to date on what's going
on....
