Well it's 2 years since we were in NZ and I wish we
were back there!
Macie had to write some poetry and for her sonnet she chose New Zealand. Her
teacher commented that it was the best in her grade. Here it is and feel free to
publish it, with her credit
Macie, age 10, USA
New Zealand
I love New Zealand. It’s so much fun.
The landscape is so beautiful and so joyful,
It’s the perfect place to jump up and run.
It’s quiet and peaceful and also enjoyful.
The food’s so exciting, Interesting, not a plain hamburger bun,
New Zealand’s so happy, it’s toyful!
There are so many trees and bees, it should be honey country.
Anyone that has gone there would say it’s anything but null.
New Zealand has plenty of bunnies.
In a poll it would be the best, not at all dull.
The currency is different, so it’s not much money.
They have Albatrosses and gulls
New Zealand is all so happy.
Go there and you’ll see nothing is flappy.
