Letters from...

Timmy-Joe in the UK

February 2005

Things here are fine, I am a little fatter, a little older and a little too close to 30!!!   Never thought I would outlive Kirt Cobain and Jim Morrison but I did. Yeah, the big day slowly approaches (March 13th) then I can say goodbye youth and hello Zimmer frame. Booooooo!

In an attempt to maintain a little dignity I have decided to make that little bit of extra effort in keeping fit and as I very much dislike treadmills and cycling machines (far too boring for my weedy attention span) I have just taken up Ceroc - it's kind of like Jive dancing and although so far have only been once a couple days ago, I still had to dance with about 30 women so by the end of the night I had a good workout.

Sadly about 6 weeks ago my girlfriend and I decided enough was enough and we split up. It was very amicable with no tantrums. It was very sad but as we had had problems for the best part of 2 years of out 4 years relationship it seemed like the best thing to do. I am making a conscious effort to remain friends as best we can in these sorts of situations as we spent some
serious time together and I think it would be a mistake to just lose contact. There is no one else on the scene for either of us. I wish her happiness, love and adventure for the coming year; she deserves to be happy.

I am still going around visiting haunted sites and looking for ghosties! I have been lucky enough to visit some pretty choice places and witness first hand some spooky things. In the last month or so alone I have seen a door open and close on command, I've picked up on the ghost of a soldier which was later confirmed in a previous mediums report I had not seen,  and I saw a ghost of a little girl.
Well, what does the future hold for me? to be honest I  don't know! I still hope to Emigrate to New Zealand sometime later in the year - maybe September.

I also want to visit Scotland, Amsterdam and Rome. I think Rome would be a pretty cool place to go to. I would love to see the Colosseum, the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel.

I am currently on a night shift and all is a little too quiet, will probably get bleeped down to resus or something - damn shouldn't have said that, it’s tempting fate a little bit.

Anyhow, I wish you a happy and healthy 2005. May the Baby Jesus Bless you and shine down Love upon you!

 As Always
    Timmy-Joe
