In Rodney, NZ people are asked to turn off
their lights between 8.30-9.30
Why don't you, like us, eat your dinner
with friends with candles on the table....
Last year 50 million people turned off their lights as well as well known
landmarks placed in darkness too - including Golden Gate Bridge, Sydney
Opera House and the Coliseum in
Rome. In Christchurch 63% of residents took part and made an electricity
saving of 13%.
