Phone bill danger There is a phone bill danger again. If you (or anyone on your phone account) receives a SPAM message and are not very careful, making the connection will download a "free" program to run videos. It claims to be Microsoft approved. Incorporated into the program is a move you will not notice if unaware. The program closes your Internet connection and phones a number direct. This connection is made under a 'pay-as-you-go' process adding to you phone bill. Your phone account will be debited without you being able to successfully complain, as the charges to you phone provider have to be paid by that company -- and your connection is confirmed. VillagePRESS suggests you phone your provider for advice on how to deal with this problem. The sound is turned up high on the phones here and the actions can be heard.
