A Domain renewal name scam? If you have a NZ website beware – an account sent from “Domain Names NZ” is for $237.00 with warning that it must be paid by – a date one week earlier than when it is due to be paid (in VillagePRESS case) to the original NZ Domain registrar, Domainz. Looks right. This account is for two years. BUT … It is actually a contract for a new site, not the existing villagepress.co.nz but villagepress.net – AND… a .net registration is in fact cheaper than NZ registrations (One Year $61.87) AND… there is no “closing date” (as on the invoice) as the site can be taken at any time, so it mightn’t be able to be registered anyway.
