VillagePress NEWSBRIEF was emailed to over 500 email addresses on our books (March 20,03) and we received only two negative replies, one  from Linda * who asked to be removed from the Bcc: List.

                    She wrote (copied directly from her email - errors hers):
You obviously think anthraxing total villages, cleansing prisons of  politcal prisoners by gassing them, legalising rape by relatives and then  executing the rape victim for adultery is not horrifc.  The UN has had 12  years to find a peaceful solution.  During that time one and a half million
 innocent civillians have been tortured and killed.

    I have removed your email address from my list - I didn't think I knew you.
In reply to your statement - and yes I do accept that SH is also a maniac, and that so many have died at his hands,
but how many have died because of sanctions, etc ?
    So now you obviously think that this process of disarming him has been beaten by the waiting time for the military and that murdering and bombing of civilians is justified ?
    Two questions
        1] Have you been under bombing and 'survived ? 
        2] Do you think you would ever forget ?
For me -- 1] I have - 2] I haven't...

Award winning journalist John Pilcher (TV1:"Face to Face", March 20-03) told it as it is for those who are widely read -- the US attack on Iraq is a war crime and totally unjustified and assisted by repetition of unchecked propaganda by much of the media...
